SyncStuff versus Dropbox

SyncStuff is a cloud storage/file sharing app. How does SyncStuff compare with Dropbox?

I have used Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox all for many years in a row. I have paid for all these services to meet my storage needs.

Most of the times all three of them work fine. In times of crisis all three of them don't work as I want. Google Drive client: stops syncing when the number of files is large and there is no way of seeing why and what is going on. Dropbox: stops syncing when the number of files is large and there is no way of seeing why and what is going on. OneDrive: stops syncing when the number of files is large and there is no way of seeing why and what is going on. Also the UI was (in the days I used it) very slow.

Since both Google Drive and OneDrive don't even work under Linux I compared SyncStuff with Dropbox only.

I hope you can see the humor in this comparison. But seriously: writing and using my own file-syncing UI gives me a lot of satisfaction because I am reminded every day that I am no longer dependent on some big American company for backing up my files.
